Tasmania contains some of the world's most precious and pristine
wilderness. World Heritage listed areas, National Parks, roaring
rivers, white sandy beaches and rugged mountain peaks are all found here.
Wilderness camping and adventure opportunities abound, but there are also plenty
of rural bed and breakfasts, historic houses and self catering accommodation from which to
explore the remote parts of the island, making self drive an excellent option. The climate is distinctly cooler
than mainland Australia with average temperatures of: Winter 13 degrees C Spring 18 degrees C Summer 22 degrees C Autumn 20 degrees C |
