of the world's last great wilderness areas, the Kimberley region covers
more than 420,000 square kilometres, encompassing rugged ranges, spectacular gorges,
waterfalls, rainforest and an astonishing variety of wildlife and plant
life. In the remote north of WA are some of Australia’s most spectacularly rugged landscape, including the startling Bungle Bungle massif. Broome and Kununurra are the main gateway towns to the Kimberley. Many of the tour operators in this area offer itineraries spanning the region along with the Top End of the Northern Territory. |
