Returns: Perth 7.00 pm Sunday ITINERARY Day 1: Perth to Monkey Mia (LD) Travel north to the lobster fishing town of Port Dennison, where you make a short stop for lunch (own expense) by the water's edge. Continue north across Greenough flats, better known for its unusual leaning trees and then on to Geraldton and Northhampton. Turn off onto Peron Peninsula to the world listed area of Shark Bay for your overnight stay at Monkey Mia. Overnight: Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort Day 2: Monkey Mia to Kalbarri (BLD) Your accommodation is located at the dolphin interaction beach and you can spend extra time at the water's edge this morning where you may encounter a visit by the famous Monkey Mia dolphins. As they are wild, dolphin appearances can't be guaranteed but coming in at regular times through the day to interact with people has been a ritual for many years. The opportunity to join an optional cruise on a 60 foot sailing catamaran the 'Shotover' is also available this morning (own expense). Enjoy unique encounters with dolphins, sharks or even the elusive dugong as 'Shotover' quietly glides through the calm waters.  This afternoon, visit the town of Denham for lunch and the incredible Shell Beach and Stromatolites before
travelling south to Kalbarri, known for wildflowers (in season) and
magnificent
rocky landscapes. Visit Hawks Head in Kalbarri National Park, one of the
area's most spectacular red river gorges.Overnight: Best Western Kalbarri Palms Resort Day 3: Kalbarri to Perth via the Pinnacles (BL) Homeward bound, enjoying sightseeing along the Kalbarri coastal gorges then travel south breaking for lunch (own expense) at the rock lobster fishing village of Cervantes, gateway to the Pinnacles Desert, an amazing moon like landscape. Time will be allowed to stroll among these limestone spires and take photographs - a memorable way to finish the tour. Arrive in Perth at approximately 7.00 pm. | Day 2:
Monkey Mia to Carnarvon (BLD) Your accommodation at Monkey Mia is located right alongside the dolphin interaction beach. You can spend extra time at the waters edge this morning where you may encounter a visit by the famous Monkey Mia dolphins. As they are wild, dolphin appearances can't be guaranteed but coming in at regular times through the day to interact with people has been a ritual for many years. In the afternoon visit the town of Denham for lunch, then to amazing Shell Beach and the Stromatolites before travelling north to Carnarvon for a 2 night stay. | Day 3:
Coral Bay and Ningaloo Reef (BD) Travel to Coral Bay, centrepiece of the pristine 260 km Ningaloo Reef which is inhabited by a rich array of sea life including exquisite corals, rare starfish, giant clams, over 460 species of fish, manta rays, dugong and dolphins. This afternoon choose between a coral viewing or snorkelling cruise (included in the tour price). (BD) Option 1: Glass Bottom Boat Cruise (1.5 hours). Ideal for viewing the coral and marine life, while enjoying a fascinating commentary on the biology of the reef. Option 2: Reef Snorkel Cruise (1.5 hours). Great for a close up experience with this pristine reef system. As the areas in which you snorkel are quite shallow, this cruise is suitable for all levels of snorkellers (equipment and basic instruction included). Carnarvon to Kalbarri (BLD) Known for wildflowers (best seen July to October) and magnificent rocky landscapes we visit Hawks Head in Kalbarri National Park, one of the areas most spectacular red river gorges. Stops will also be made to view seasonal wildflowers, before we then travel to the coastal township of Kalbarri. Overnight: Kalbarri Edge Resort |

| Day 5:
Kalbarri to Perth via the Pinnacles (BL) Homeward bound, enjoying sightseeing along the Kalbarri coastal gorges. Travel south breaking for lunch at the rock lobster fishing village of Cervantes - gateway to the renowned Pinnacles Desert, an amazing moon-like landscape and truly one of Australia's most mystical experiences. Time will be allowed to stroll among these limestone spires and take photographs, before continuing your journey. Arrive in Perth at approximately 7.00 pm. |
