Departs with a min of 2 guests, subject to availability, with pick ups from central Sydney hotels
Day 1
From Sydney  travel north to the Hunter Valley following back roads to Denman, Cassilis and on to Coolah Tops, a recent addition to the National Parks. Here drive and walk through some breathtaking forests with spellbinding waterfalls and enjoy views across the fertile Liverpool Plains. Reaching the first cattle and sheep station, 'Baladonga' at Coolah, spend a relaxing night with the farm owners.
Overnight: Baladonga - a 4500 acre sheep and cattle property in Central Western NSW, located 10km north of Coolah. The 110 year old sandstone homestead is set in a spacious, pretty garden overlooking the surrounding hills. Kangaroos, wallabies and emus roam freely on the farm for guests to see and enjoy. Swimming, walks and a property tour are a feature.

Day 2
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before travelling on to Binnaway and Coonabarabran. Then experience the rugged beauty of one of NSW’s favourite parks, Warrumbungle NP. Here enjoy a picnic lunch and short walks and if you're lucky you will see as far as Mt Kaputar. A visit to the Siding Spring Observatory will introduce you to the world of sky watching, planets and the stars.  Continuing into the Outback, travel unsealed roads to Coonamble and out to the delightful property 'Thurn'.  Still a working cattle station, Thurn has been turned into a semi-nature reserve with extraordinary birdlife and wildlife to be seen from your accommodation.
Overnight:  Thurn

Day 3
After another great Australian country breakfast there’s time to explore parts of the property with your hosts before departing to Macquarie Marshes, where again prolific birdlife can be seen. After lunch, continue turning south east to travel through Warren, and Gilgandra, with a stop at Dunedoo.  Finally, enjoy tasting some of the Mudgee region's premium wines before arriving at your overnight destination, a delightful hotel.

Day 4
After breakfast, cross the Blue Mountains, lunching at the historic Imperial Hotel.  Pause at spectacular Govett's Leap before descending the Blue Mountains and driving deep into a national park to Euroka Clearing.  Here you'll usually see kangaroos in the wild while you toast your Outback adventure with a glass of champagne.  Arrive back in Sydney at about 6.00 pm
