Highlights: Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Walpa (Olga) Gorge, Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunset.
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport (before 1.00 pm) be transferred to your chosen hotel. This afternoon travel to Kata Tjuta where the cluster of 36 dramatic rock formations dominates the skyline. Walk into Walpa Gorge - you need some level of fitness for this. Later, enjoy a glass of wine and admire Uluru at sunset.

Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock) - Kings Canyon
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base Tour or for the non-climbers, the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk . Both tours include a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Time is available to take an optional helicopter flight (own expense). This afternoon travel to Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon).

Day 3: Kings Canyon Guided Walk - Alice Springs
This morning join your guide for the rocky climb to the canyon rim for superb views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness, supportive footwear essential). Alternatively explore the canyon floor (an easier, shady walk). Travel on to Alice Springs or back to Ayers Rock Resort this afternoon.  Concludes: 7.00pm approximately in Alice Springs or 4.30pm (Oct - Mar) and 5.30pm (Apr - Sep) approximately at Ayers Rock Resort.
 

Alice Springs to Uluru Experience (2 nights / 3 days)
Departs Daily: 7.30am from Alice Springs.   Concludes: At Ayers Rock Resort

Day 1: Alice Springs - Uluru (Ayers Rock) 
Depart from Alice Springs at 7.30am and travel through the West MacDonnell and James Ranges. Stop at a camel farm for an optional camel ride (own expense) and later stop to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner), before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. The afternoon is spent touring Kata Tjuta, including time to walk into Walpa Gorge, before travelling to the Uluru sunset viewing area to watch sunset and the changing colours of Uluru while enjoying nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine.

Day 2: Sounds of Silence Dinner 
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base Tour or for the non-climbers, the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk . Both tours include watching sunrise at Uluru and a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. The first option allows time for climbing, whilst the second option includes a longer guided walk at the base of Uluru. Time is also available for an optional scenic flight (own expense). In the evening dine under a million stars at the award-winning Sounds of Silence Dinner. Enjoy an included gourmet buffet of Australian delicacies accompanied by fine Australian wines, then sit back and relax as an astronomer takes you on a tour of the southern night skies (conditions permitting).
Overnight Uluru (Ayers Rock Resort) Dinner included - vegetarian meals are available upon request at time of booking.
Day 3:  Uluru (Ayers Rock)
You will be transferred from your hotel to Ayers Rock Airport for your flight (airfare not included in tour).|
 

Alice Springs to Uluru Explorer (3 nights / 4 days)
Departs Daily: 7.30am. (no departures  on  Wed + Sat Nov to May).  
Concludes: 4.30pm (Oct - Mar) and 5.30pm (Apr -Sep) approximately at Ayers Rock Resort

The Base Tour and Guided Cultural Walk also include a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) where your guide will escort you on a 2-3 hour walk to the Valley of the Winds Lookout. Later take in a magnificent outback sunset at Kata Tjuta while enjoying a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

Day 3: Uluru (Ayers Rock) to Kings Canyon
The morning is at leisure to relax or join an optional tour. In the afternoon, travel to Kings Canyon. There may be time to watch the sun set behind Carmichael's Crag. In the evening you might like to view the stars in the outback sky.

Day 4: Kings Canyon 
This morning make the climb to the rim of the canyon, where you will be rewarded with marvellous views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness). Continue the 3 hour walk around the canyon with your guide as you hear and learn about the geology and history of this amazing formation. Alternatively, take the easier 1½ hour walk along the boulderstrewn canyon floor. Return to Kings Canyon Resort for lunch (own expense). Travel on to Alice Springs or back to Ayers Rock Resort this afternoon. Concludes: 7.00pm in Alice Springs or 4.30pm (Oct - Mar) and 5.30pm (Apr - Sep) at Ayers Rock Resort (times approximate).  Accommodation for this night is not included in the tour price.

The adult price includes a National Park Entry Fee
The fee is A$25 per adult. You only have to pay this fee once when purchasing 2 or more Day Tours in this national park, as entry is valid for 3 consecutive days. It is an additional compulsory government charge at time of booking and is subject to change without notice. Children 15 years and under are not required to pay the entry fee. You must carry your ticket with you every time you enter the National Park or you will be required to purchase another ticket.
