Day 1:
Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
Highlights: Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Walpa (Olga) Gorge, Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Sunset.
Airport
transfer (before 1.00 pm) to your chosen hotel. This afternoon travel to Kata
Tjuta where the cluster of
36 dramatic rock formations dominates the skyline. Walk into Walpa Gorge
- you need some level of fitness for this. Later, enjoy a glass of wine
and admire Uluru at sunset.
Overnight Uluru (Ayers Rock Resort)
Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock) - Kings Canyon
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base Tour or for the non-climbers, the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk
. Both tours include a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Time is available to take an optional helicopter flight (own expense).
This afternoon travel to Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon).

Day 3: Kings Canyon Guided Walk - Alice Springs
This morning join your guide for the rocky climb to the canyon rim
for superb views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level
of fitness, supportive footwear essential). Alternatively explore the
canyon floor (an easier, shady walk). Travel on to Alice Springs or back
to Ayers Rock Resort this afternoon. Concludes: 6.30pm approximately in Alice Springs or 4.30pm (Oct - Mar) and 5.00pm (Apr - Sep) approximately at Ayers Rock Resort.

Day 1: Alice Springs - Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Depart from Alice Springs and travel through the West MacDonnell and James
Ranges. Stop at a camel farm for an optional camel ride (own expense)
and later stop to view majestic Atila (Mt Conner), before arriving at
Ayers Rock Resort. The afternoon is spent touring Kata Tjuta, including
time to walk into Walpa Gorge, before travelling to the Uluru sunset
viewing area to watch sunset and the changing colours of Uluru whilst
enjoying nibbles and a glass of wine.

Day 2: Sounds of Silence Dinner
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base Tour or for the non-climbers, the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk
. Both tours include watching sunrise at Uluru and a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. The first option allows time for climbing, whilst the second option includes a longer guided walk at the base of Uluru. Time is also available for an optional scenic flight (own expense). In the evening dine under a million stars at the award-winning Sounds of Silence Dinner. Enjoy an
included gourmet buffet of Australian delicacies accompanied by fine Australian wines, then sit back and relax as an astronomer takes you on a tour of the southern night skies (conditions permitting).

Day 1: West MacDonnell Ranges - Gorges
This morning travel along the West MacDonnell Ranges and visit Simpsons Gap with its lovely red gum scenery. Continue on to magical Angkerle (Standley Chasm). Travel to Ellery Creek Big Hole before arriving arriving at Ormiston Gorge to enjoy an
included picnic lunch. At Glen Helen Homestead you have the opportunity to take in the spectacular views by helicopter (own expense) before returning to Alice Springs.

Day 2: Alice Springs - Kata Tjuta (Olgas)
Travel south from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Resort, stopping at a camel farm for an optional camel ride (own expense). This afternoon tour to Kata Tjuta and walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout. The walking path is rocky and requires a good level of fitness. View a magnificent ‘outback’ sunset before travelling on
to an exclusive barbecue venue to enjoy an included barbecue dinner and stargazing (weather
permitting) - vegetarian meals are available upon request at time of booking.

Day 4: Kings Canyon
An early start to travel to Kings Canyon, stopping on the way at Kings Creek Station for breakfast (own expense). Commence the climb at Kings Canyon with your Guide to be rewarded with spectacular views of Watarrka National Park from the top of the canyon. The climb takes 3 hours and is recommended for those with a good level of fitness. Alternatively, you may prefer to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor. Return this evening to Ayers Rock
Resort (accommodation for this night is not included in the tour price).
