Alice Springs has been a hub of Aboriginal activity for thousands of years and its more recent history traces back to the days of the original Overland Telegraph.  These two camping tours explore the true heart of the Red Centre and take in some of the natural wonders of the region, including Uluru (Ayers Rock), a sacred icon to the Aboriginal people.  Qantas flies to Alice Springs and the legendary Ghan train services it twice a week.  Qantas also flies into Ayers Rock airport.
