Meet at  Adelaide railway station at 8.45 am and catch the train through the picturesque Adelaide Hills and foothills, leaving the train to join the Yurrebilla Trail at  Belair railway station where you will walk through South Australia's oldest national park, with a good array of bird life including musk lorikeets.  The trail follows the Workanda Creek to Echo Tunnel, then Wilyawa Track to Sheoak Road.  The trail descends into the depths of the Brownhill Creek Recreation Park then through the Carrick Hill and Waite Conservation Reserve. From there  walk along the former Mt Barker Freeway to magnificent views of Adelaide at Eagle on the Hill.
