Itinerary: Perth to Perth 'Long North Route' taking in Geraldton, Monkey Mia, Kalbarri, Pinnacles

Day 1 
Collect your rental vehicle in Perth and drive north to Geraldton, situated on a a beautiful section of coast with attractive hills and ranges inland to the east. South of Geraldton is the Greenough River and north is the Chapman River.
Overnight:  
Until 31 Mar'08 - Comfort Inn Geraldton

Day 2 
Leave your accommodation in Geraldton and drive to Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort. 
Overnight: 
Shark Bay - Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort (Garden Villa)
Day 3 
Today you have a day at leisure at Monkey Mia.

Continue your drive to Kalbarri

Enjoy a day at leisure in Kalbarri - maybe take some time to visit its spectacular, breathtaking gorges in the Kalbarri National Park.

Day 6
Depart Kalbarri for Cervantes
Overnight:
Cervantes Pinnacles Motel (Standard Room)
Day 7
Leave Cervantes - an absolute must is a stop at Nambung National Park to see the mystical Pinnacles and experience the eerie atmosphere of this area, which is also known locally as the Painted Desert.  Continue to Perth where you drop off your hire car.  		 Pinnacles view © Tourism WA
