A first class hotel. The Lodge itself has an ambience of warmth and
security that welcomes you to every room. There is a choice of dining
with the acclaimed Highland Restaurant, the walk-in Wine Cellar or the
informality of the Tavern Bar. Inside your cabin you'll immediately feel
at home. The layout is generous, comfortable and more than a touch
romantic. And if snow falls, as it can even in the summer months at
Cradle Mountain, ignore the electric heaters in your cabin and stoke the
fire instead and perhaps share a bottle of red wine in front of the flames. |

| Regular flights with Qantas are
available from all Australian capital cities to Launceston, Devonport or
Hobart. You can then collect a hire car (see Self-Drive) or a private

Launceston, 1 hour 15 mins from Devonport and several hours from Hobart. |
