| With two luxurious double rooms, both with ASDL connection, Thorn Park by the vines sleeps four people, and rooms can be booked individually or as a pair. Each room has its own view and private area. Quiet spaces and the extensive library remain very important elements of the accommodation experience. New furnishings, beautiful fabrics and the expected extravagances sit comfortably amongst a few favourite pieces kept from Thorn Park Country House. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
 THE WHITE ROOM: Has vistas over the dam and mature eucalypt trees. It is the larger of the two rooms and has a king sized bed that can be twinned. The walls are a soft white and the furnishings include a contemporary floral pattern and sheer muslin curtains which compliment a collection of antiques and art works. A chaise lounge and several Turkish rugs harmonise with the decor. |

 YELLOW BEDROOM:Yellow and blue curtains and lightly sponged yellow walls enhance the chinoiserie feel of this queen bedded room. A collection of botanical prints and Royal Doulton plates adorn the walls. An early Australian Huon pine wardrobe and Georgian chest of drawers compliment the decor. A small desk with comfortable armchair complete the furnishings. This room is also suitable for guests with special mobility needs. |

| David Hay has had many years experience in preparing
food and has travelled extensively observing food styles in many
countries. His training as an interior designer has given him an eye for fine detail. David has a great love of fresh produce and an innate sense and flair in food
preparation. Mine host Michael Speers has had many years experience as both an art teacher and an actor and is much loved by the Thorn Park guests for his style in making them feel welcome and at home during their stay. |
