Dining
Lilianfels enjoys a rare position for a luxury hotel in Australia since
it has the benefit of four seasons. This means seasonal produce for
regionally based menus in the two superb restaurants - including 'Tre
Sorelle' Restaurant which offers
a contemporary Italian menu.

The Lounge
The Lounge invites guests to relax in comfortable wing chairs and
sofas, with mahogany side tables, solid bookcases, elegant prints, open
fires and magnificent views of the valley. The Lounge offers all day
dining (10.00am-10.00pm) sumptuous afternoon teas and refreshments
served both inside and in the adjoining garden.
Guest Rooms All rooms are large, comfortable and
welcoming. They are like private bedrooms with no two rooms alike and
all reflect Lilianfels' Victorian heritage. Some rooms have a double bed, others are
twin bedded. An additional bed is available in some rooms.
Complimentary Inclusions: Tennis court, petanque terrain,
heated indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam rooms (excluding
massages and herbal baths), gymnasium, billiard room, library, use of
mountain bikes, morning newspapers and undercover valet parking. Golf is
available nearby and green fees apply.

The
original house Lilianfels was built in 1889 as the summer residence for
Sir Frederick Darley, Chief Justice and Lieutenant Governor of New South
Wales. The house played a major role in Australia's Federation, with
much of the documentation written under its roof and it continued as an
exclusive country retreat for many years.
Lilianfels is a luxurious
hotel in the Blue Mountains, a 90-minute drive from Sydney. The hotel is
situated in Leura, a long-established and
fairly busy residential and tourist centre on the outskirts of the Blue Mountains town of
Katoomba. Lilianfels is adjacent to the Three Sisters in the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.
The historic home Lilianfels, built in 1889, has been transformed and
restored to its original splendour and now houses the award-winning restaurant,
Darley's, named after the original owner. Set in two acres of
English style gardens, the adjoining 86 room hotel, opened in 1992,
offers first class facilities and comforts.
