Red Service Sleeper Cabins
Red Service (formerly Red Kangaroo Service) offers comfortable, air-conditioned twin share sleeping accommodation to suit your holiday budget. By day, your Red Service Sleeper Cabin features two facing lounge chairs that afford splendid views of the outback through a panoramic window. At night, the chairs convert to upper and lower sleeping berths with crisp clean sheets, pillows and doonas (duvets).
These cabins feature private washing facilities including fresh fluffy towels. Toilets and showers are located at the end of each carriage. For your convenience there is a wardrobe, vanity mirror, 3 pin/ 240 volt power points, reading lamp and a foldaway table.

Guests travelling in Red Service can enjoy the comfortable facilities of the Red Kangaroo Diner. 

Single Travellers
Single cabins are not available in Red Service carriages and passengers travelling alone may have to share a Red Service Sleeper Cabin.  (Gold Service carriages DO have some single cabins.)

Red Service Diner and Buffet
Red Service features a bright, cheery Diner and Buffet Car where affordable, tasty light meals and snacks may be purchased. Limited special dietary light meals are available on request (advise at time of booking). The Diner is fully licensed and smoking is not permitted. Snacks and light meals are also available for purchase throughout the day from the licensed Buffet Car. A dedicated smokers capsule is available for Red Service guests and this is located at the rear of the Daynighter Seat section of the train.
