Choice Hotels Australasia, representing Comfort Inn, Quality and Clarion, offers a choice of more than 300 hotels, motels, resorts and apartments throughout Australia, the prepaid  Choice Hotels Hotelpass features the largest accommodation chain in the country.
Choice Hotels Australasia provides a wide range of accommodation - from vibrant city centre hotels to luxurious seaside resorts; from comfortable country motor inns to peaceful individualistic hideaways.
  
PRICE INCLUDES
A typical Choice Hotels' property in Australia

All rooms have private en-suite bathroom/WC plus colour TV, radio, telephone, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities.   Often there are many other features including in-house movies, cocktail bars and swimming pools.  There is also an option to add breakfast to the Pass room rate.
 
ADVANTAGES OF THE PASS 
Choice Hotels Hotelpass is a convenient, flexible and very cost effective way to travel.  The Hotelpass is easy to use and consists of pre-paid accommodation vouchers, one being required for each night’s accommodation.  These can either be pre-booked or open dated.

Convenience: Pre-purchased accommodation vouchers helps with you trip cost planning.

Flexibility: Pre-book your accommodation, in full or in part, or use open vouchers to travel as you please.

Value for money: Choice Hotels Hotelpass represents a significant overall saving on published prices.

Children stay free: Children under 12 years stay free of charge when sharing their parents¹ room using existing bedding in a standard room (maximum two children).
 
HOW THE PASS WORKS
Each Choice property has a colour code. Simply use your Hotelpass vouchers at properties with the corresponding colour codes.

Silver   Luxury hotels centrally located in capital cities.
Red   Deluxe hotels with excellent service and facilities.
Blue   First-class hotels in cities and resort locations.
Green   Excellent properties with good facilities in cities and resort locations.
Pink   Good quality, economical accommodation, mostly in regional locations.
Yellow   Most economical ­ good hotels and motels found in country towns.

You can upgrade to a higher code property simply by paying a surcharge at check-in. You may also choose to use your voucher at a lower coded property (please note no refunds are given in this case).

Flag Choice Hotel Pass can also be used in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea or Fiji.
 
Pre-booked Passes
Check the directory and select the property you would like to pre-book.  Each property has a coloured box next to the picture. Simply select the Choice Hotels Australasia Hotelpass that corresponds to that color.

Pre-booked reservations are recommended during peak times.
 
Open dated Passes
Purchase the colour pass of your choice.  Consult the directory and make your reservations as you go.  If you intend to arrive after 6.00pm be sure to phone ahead with your estimated time of arrival to ensure your reservation is not cancelled.  Credit card details will guarantee your reservations. Your  Choice Hotel for the night will normally assist in confirming your following nights accommodation without extra charge.

 
Mixing Your Pass Categories
A mixture of Choice Hotels Hotelpasses can be purchased.  When a lower priced voucher is used at a higher priced property, a fee to upgrade will apply which is payable direct (click here for details of the supplementary Choice Hotelpass fees payable)
If a higher priced voucher is used at a lower priced property, there will be no refund.
