ABOUT THE BEST WESTERN HOTEL PASS
A typical Best Western Motel in Australia
The diversity of Best Western Australia’s properties has allowed the organisation to produce a simple four colour accommodation pass system. Whether you have pre-booked before leaving home or are on a go-as-you-please basis, all 260+ Best Western outlets accept the colour coded passes. Each Best Western property in Australia is colour coded Blue, Yellow, Red or Silver according to the following general guidelines:

Blue   Good value accommodation in rural and regional locations.
Yellow   Higher standard accommodation in rural and regional locations.
Red   Quality hotels in major cities and resort areas.
Silver   Excellent standard with deluxe facilities in major cities and resort areas

You can upgrade to a higher code property simply by paying a surcharge at check-in. You may also choose to use your voucher at a lower coded property (please note no refunds are given in this case).

To see what Best Western hotels are available throughout Australia and their colour codes, you can view a (slow downloading) Microsoft Excel
