| The Pacific Asia Travel
Association, formed in Hawaii in 1951 and now with headquarters in
Bangkok, is an international organisation with over 2,500 members, made
up from the destinations, carriers, hotel groups, tour operators, ground
handlers and travel agents based in the Pacific Asia region or involved
in promotion of the area. Other members include publications, travel
writers and indeed any reputable organisation with interests in travel
to and within the region. PATA UK has excellent relationships with other
travel trade-related organisations such as ABTA, EATA, MTAA, NAITA, SPAA
and IATA.
