The Captain Cook Cruises vessel Reef Endeavour features spacious, air
conditioned staterooms and cabins which open directly to outside decks.
On the well appointed 73 metre boat, passengers enjoy the generous public areas, huge
picture windows. A maximum of 150
passengers are catered for.
Other features include a swimming pool, two top deck spa pools, sundeck,
sauna, gym, gift shop, two
lounges, two bars, conference room, single-sitting dining room, glass bottom boat,
satellite communications, phone and fax.
A marine naturalist is aboard providing lectures and information to
enhance appreciation of the reef. Snorkelling equipment is
complimentary. Meals are included and are carefully prepared and feature
international and Australian specialties, particularly fresh seafood. |

| ITINERARY: Northern Voyage
- 4 nights |
Departs Cairns every Monday at
1400 - arrives back at Cairns at 0800 on Friday
Day 1: Cairns to Green Island. Guests have the
opportunity to explore this lush, tropical island. Meet the captain,
officers and crew at the Welcome Dinner this evening.
Day 2: Green Island to Lizard Island. Cruise north to Lizard
Island, pass Cape Tribulation & Bloomfield River National Park,
where the mangrove meets the reef. Weather permitting the
Reef Endeavour will call into historic mainland Cooktown, where James
Cook beached his barque Endeavour in 1770. Once a thriving gold rush
town, Cooktown remains a living museum. In the afternoon an opportunity
to visit the coral cay of Two Isles.
Day 3: Lizard Island. Today experience the delights of this
exclusive island, surrounded by coral reefs. Stroll along sandy white
beaches to secluded blue lagoons, snorkel or dive, join the marine
naturalist on the glass bottom boat or climb 'Cook’s Look' for
spectacular Barrier Reef views. Tonight enjoy the Island Night
festivities.
Day 4: Lizard Island to Ribbon Reef. Home of the Black Marlin
and giant Potato Cod, Ribbon Reef is one of the marine park’s most
spectacular and remote coral reef destinations. Your underwater
adventure will feature a myriad of coral formations, and a kaleidoscope
of marine life. Snorkel, dive or accompany the marine naturalist in the
glass-bottom boat for breath-taking coral viewing. This evening you’re
invited to the Captain’s Dinner.
Day 5: Ribbon Reef to Cairns. Arrive 0800; disembark after breakfast

| Departs Cairns every Friday at
1400 - arrives back at Cairns at 0800 on Monday
Day 1: Cairns to Green Island. Guests have the
opportunity to explore this lush, tropical island. Meet the captain,
officers and crew at the Welcome Dinner this evening.
Day 2: Green Island to Hedley Reef. Morning arrival at this
spectacular coral reef destination. Snorkel or dive amongst the
brilliantly coloured fish, coral and giant clam gardens, or join the
marine naturalist on the glass bottom boat.
Day 3: Hedley Reef to Dunk Island. Cruise through Hinchinbrook
Channel to the tropical paradise of Dunk Island. Walk through the
rainforest with its rainbow coloured birds and native flowers, or simply
relax on the resort island. Tonight you are invited to the Captain’s
Dinner Dance, a gala affair.
Day 4: Dunk Island to Cairns. Arrives 0800; disembark after
breakfast.

1400 - arrives back at Cairns at 0800 the following Friday or
Departs Cairns every Monday at
1400 - arrives back at Cairns at 0800 the following Monday
Combine the above two voyages into a total Great Barrier
Experience. The voyages can be combined in any order you choose,
with a morning stopover in Cairns for shopping or touring.
