Outer Barrier Reef Cruise - Quicksilver ' Wave Piercer'

Returns:  approx 6.00 pm
You will be taken from your hotel to Port Douglas where you will embark on a large catamaran and cruise to Agincourt Reef at the very edge of Australia's continental shelf.  From a floating pontoon you can experience the dazzling kaleidoscope of colour and brilliance that is the underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef.  You can dive, snorkel or stay dry and explore the reef from the comfort of a semi-sub, just one metre underwater.  Includes tropical buffet lunch and snorkelling equipment.
Diving: Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from diving. Minimum age for diving is 12 years. 
Child prices apply to those aged 4 - 14 years.  Infants travel free.

EMC:
An Environmental Management Charge (EMC) of A$5 is levied for all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area. This is payable direct by passengers to Quicksilver on the day of travel.
FUEL LEVY:
With fluctuations in world oil prices, a fuel surcharge may be applicable and in such cases is payable direct by passengers to Quicksilver on the day of travel. 
BAD WEATHER:
On very rare occasions, services can be subject to the effect of weather or unforeseen circumstances. Should a cruise not operate for any reason passengers will be offered an alternative day or a refund authorised.
 

Low Isles Cruise - Quicksilver 'Wave Dancer'

Quicksilver 'Wave Dancer' off the Low Isles Departs:  Cairns  8.00 am
Returns:  5.30 pm
Travel by catamaran to the Low Isles, set like a jewel within a lagoon of secluded coral gardens.  Enjoy a host of reef activities including snorkeling, introductory diving, exploring the island beach with a marine biologist, viewing the coral through a glass bottomed boat or just lazing on the beach.  A smorgasbord lunch is included.
Child prices apply to those aged 4 - 14 years.  Infants travel free.

Michaelmas Cay Cruise - 'Ocean Spirit'

Returns:  5.30 pm
Cruise on a sailing catamaran to Michaelmas Cay, a seabird sanctuary, where 4 hours are spent exploring.  
Semi-submersible viewing and guided snorkel tours are included with qualified marine biologists.  Scuba diving facilities are available at an additional cost.
During May and June 2004 Ocean Spirit I and II will both be refitted in turn, resulting in a reduction of places available whilst the work is in progress.

Great Barrier Reef Diving Day - Silver Series
Departs:  Cairns (Silverswift) or Port Douglas (Silversonic)  8.30 am
Returns:  4.30 pm
Choose from Silverswift, a luxury 24 metre catamaran departing from Cairns daily, or Silversonic, an ultra modern 29 metre catamaran departing from Port Douglas daily.  Join either vessel for a superb day of adventure snorkelling or diving with a choice of  sites.

Exact locations vary according to conditions but Silverswift usually heads for Milln, Flyn and Thetford reefs where
you can visit 3 sites at the Outer Barrier Reef and spend a leisurely 5 hours at play.  Certified divers can enjoy up to 3 dives, with introductory divers able to do a second dive.  Adventure snorkellers can explore spectacular coral formations and underwater gardens awash with vibrantly coloured marine creatures.
 

Silversonic goes to Agincourt ribbon reef where you'll have access to exclusive dive and snorkel sites, visiting 3 different sites so you can choose 3 certified dives 2 introductory dives or 3 different adventure snorkel locations.  (Please note:  prices shown below are for 2 certified dives or 1 certified dive)
