After flying over theMitchell Falls you will begin to explore the very remote Hunter. Join one of the expedition boats, take a short hike to Jackson Falls and there’s even more splendour from the helicopter! If you enjoy fishing, the Mitchell River is famed for its big barramundi and the helicopter will be in action again for scenic flights. Then, join the crew for cocktail hour before dinner, complimented by a leisurely cruise to Vansittart Bay. Day Three: Today you will have an opportunity to see Bradshaw art - ancient rock art that pre-dates other examples of Aboriginal culture. Next a delicious heli-picnic at Eagle Falls and then you can explore local beaches and rivers using the tenders, including an isolated site in the rainforest where a WWII bomber crashed. |
