|
Day 1 - Sydney/"Stockman's Hall of Fame"/Longreach
The journey begins aboard your exclusive

This town has an impressive history and is the home of the Stockman's Hall of Fame,
a magnificent museum constructed
as a tribute to the Australian pioneers.

|
Day 2 - Mt Isa
Re-boarding the aircraft this morning, experience the true concept of
air cruising. There are no check-in formalities and no baggage
handling, everything is taken care of. The flight today crosses the vast
landscape of the Channel Country. Arrive at Mt Isa, where the commercial
development has been largely due to the mineral wealth of the area. A
surface inspection of the mine and surrounding areas gives you an
idea of the complexity of such a project and the organisation
needed.
Overnight: Knotts Crossing Resort (BLD)
|
|
Day 3 - Katherine Gorge/Kakadu National Park
Your aircraft takes you to the Northern Territory to the township of
Katherine for a cruise through the magnificent Katherine Gorge. Carved
by the Katherine River over millions of years, the gorge system reveals
the diverse flora and fauna of this outstanding National Park. Continue
on to Arnhemland to the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park.
Spectacular low aerial sightseeing provides unsurpassed viewing of the
Arnhemland escarpment with its intruding gorges and abrupt cliff faces.
A cruise on Yellow Waters Lagoon allows a closer inspection of one of
the richest biological areas in Australia.
Overnight: Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn (BLD)
Day 4 - Kakadu National Park/Darwin
Kakadu National park is home to the most outstanding concentration of
Aboriginal art and history in Australia. This morning, cruise the East
Alligator River. Examine some of the finest examples of Aboriginal art
at Ubirr Rock. A short flight this afternoon to Australia's most
northerly capital - Darwin.
Overnight: Holiday Inn Esplanade or similar for 2 nights
(BLD)

 |
|
|
|
Day 5 - Territory Wildlife Park

wide variety of unique Territory wildlife. A wonderful opportunity to
observe wildlife at close range.
(BLD)
|
Day 6 - The Kimberley/Bungle Bungle National Park/Kununurra
Flying westward to the Kimberley region of Western Australia, the
aircraft provides incredible low aerial 'flightseeing' over the Purnululu
(Bungle
Bungle) National Park. Symmetrical in shape, these unusual beehive rock formations have received world recognition. Land at the
headquarters of the Ord River Scheme, Kununurra, then cruise the
beautiful Ord River through the stunning escarpment areas of the
Kimberley.
Overnight: Kununurra Country Club Hotel or similar (BLD) |
 |
|
Day 7 - North West Coastline/Buccaneer Archipelago/Broome
|
Once again your aircraft provides spectacular views over the far north
west coastline and the Mitchell Plateau. Enjoy a bird's eye view of this
elusive but beautiful area where the rugged giant gulfs have a tidal
range of over nine metres. Finally land at the historic pearling town of
Broome.
Overnight: Broome Cable Beach Club or similar for 2
nights (BLD) |
|
|
|
Day 8 - Broome
Explore the township of Broome, established in the romantic days of the
flourishing pearling industry at the turn of the century. Enjoy sunset
over magnificent Cable Beach.
Day 9 - Uluru (Ayers Rock)/Kata Tjuta (Olgas)
Re-joining our exclusive aircraft this morning, head east across this
huge continent to the heart of Australia. Experience spectacular low
aerial 'flightseeing' as the massive monolith of Uluru (Ayers Rock) and
Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) dominate the surrounding desert plains. This
evening enjoy the vivid and changing colours of the Rock as the sun
sets.

 |
Day 10 - Uluru (Ayers Rock)/Alice Springs
This morning travel to the Olgas to explore the thirty six conglomerate
domes known to the Aborigines as Kata Tjuta. The aircraft awaits to fly
you to Alice Springs, the most famous of all Australian outback towns,
lying at the foot of the northern slopes of the MacDonnell Ranges.
Overnight: Alice Springs Crowne Plaza or similar for

Today the aircruise ends, but not without landing first to visit
Australia's most famed outback pub. Situated on the historic Birdsville
