Aerial view of Coral Sea ResortThe Coral Sea Resort is located on the mainland at Airlie Beach, on the Whitsunday Coast, 1100 km north of Brisbane and 700 km south of Cairns.    The Outer Reef is less than 2 hours away and there are many small reefs in and around the islands.   Coral Sea Resort has 280°of  absolute ocean front (although  this is not itself really a swimming beach)  a short walk from Airlie Beach village.

Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) Airport is 35 minutes by road from the Resort and pick ups can be arranged.  Airlie Beach is one of the gateways to the Whitsunday Islands.
