There is easy road access from Port Douglas and Cairns and helicopter or
light aircraft transfers are also available
A cheaper option is a scheduled coach service between Cairns and
Cape Tribulation, travelling by luxury air-conditioned coach through
beautiful scenery. Transfer times are approximately 3 hours each
way and you can book at the time of booking your Cape Tribulation Resort
and Spa accommodation.

Cape Tribulation Resort and
Spa, a beautiful
award winning resort, is 140 kilometres north of Cairns. It is
located at Cape Tribulation between the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree
National Park. The Resort is situated in 100 hectares of one of the
world's oldest rainforests, fringing the white sands of Coconut Beach
where the rainforest meets the reef.
The rainforest is so close to the rooms that you can stand on your
balcony and feel as though you are in the trees. At night, you can hear
the rustling of the leaves and by daylight, wake to the cacophony of
native Australian birds. The development is small-scale and
harmonises with the surrounding environment. The all timber
accommodation is scattered through the trees, nestled on the hillside
and connected by meandering pathways.
The Longhouse (below, left) is the focal point of the resort and stands
impressively on the beachfront housing the main restaurant, bar and gift
shop. The resort also has 2 beautiful free form pools for year round
swimming.

riding, bike riding, fishing, hiking and beach games. |
