Byron Bay is in the very north of northern NSW and is the most easterly point of Australia.  It is an attractive small town with interesting little shops and galleries.  It has beautiful surroundings, including unspoilt beaches and here you can see dolphins as well as whales from Cape Byron, in season. To the south is Coffs Harbour and further south again is  Port Stephens, approximately 2-3 hours drive north of Sydney and, like Byron Bay, is an  all the year round destination, famous for its dolphins and offering water sports, fishing, golf, bush walking and of course lovely beaches.  Northern New South Wales Coast Prices

Casuarina Lodge offers 18 individual rooms in 12 lodges set in a secluded rainforest location at Byron Bay.  Each lodge has its own private balcony overlooking the rainforest or freshwater creek, bedroom, separate lounge and en suite bathroom, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities and TV.  Guest services include Wilson's by the Creek restaurant offering modern Australian cuisine, bar, room service and BBQs on site, concierge, swimming pool, heated outdoor spa, tennis court (under construction).

This property has a spectacular beachfront location and accommodation is in 7 individually styled luxury suites.  Guest facilities include a restaurant, a swimming pool and tropical courtyard area, steam room, guest safe, beach equipment, towels and massage service.  Rooms are equipped with ISD/STD telephones, TV, VCR, toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and fresh flowering orchids.
There is a minimum stay of 2 night over weekends and 3 - 5 nights at key holiday times.   Children are not catered for

Only a few minutes drive from Byron Bay is the award winning property (previously known as Ewingsdale Country Guesthouse), ideal for a relaxed and peaceful getaway.  Ewingsdale is a country house on 3 acres of magnificent landscaped gardens and enjoys panoramic ocean, mountain and rural views.  Facilities include a palm fringed salt water swimming pool, all weather BBQ area and a cabana. Binoculars are supplied for bird watching and also mountain bikes for the surrounding country roads. There is a minimum stay of 2 nights over weekends.   Children are not catered for.
