Brief Details of Cairns Day Trips and Excursions 
Kuranda Day including Scenic Rail, Skyrail and Tjapukai Aboriginal Culture Park
Kuranda Scenic Railway
Departs:  7.00 am Cairns and Northern Beaches        Returns:  5.00 pm
(Child is 4 - 14 years) 
Board the Kuranda Scenic Rail for a breathtaking journey to the little town of Kuranda in the rainforest.  There is time to explore before returning on the famous Skyrail.  Then take a short walk to the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park which offers stage shows and demonstrations to inform you about this ancient culture before returning to you accommodation by coach.(Lunch is at own expense.)  
Note: A A$2 per person surcharge is payable direct to the driver
 
Hot Air Balloon Flights (30 mins or 60 mins)
Departs: Pre-dawn (approx 4.40 am!) Cairns and Northern Beaches     Returns:  10.00 am    
(Child is 4 - 13 years - minimum age is 4 years)
Early morning Hot Air balloon flight near Cairns Watch your balloon being filled and rise with the sun!  Your flight (30 or 60 minutes) is followed by an Australian champagne breakfast and return by coach to your hotel.  Includes 30 or 60 minute balloon flight, round trip transfers from your accommodation in Cairns or the Northern Beaches, breakfast, flight certificate.
