The Kimberley region is remote, unspoiled and full of impressive Aboriginal heritage sites.  It is one of the world's finest wilderness destinations, and is only now being 'discovered'.  Access is usually via one of the 2 main towns, Broome and Kununurra.  Broome is on a magnificent stretch of coast, including Cable Beach (pictured above), only 18 degrees south of the equator and is a major centre for cultured pearl farming.  Kununurra (pictured below),1100 kms inland to the east, is surrounded by spectacular ranges and sits beside Lake Kununurra and the Ord River, with huge Lake Argyle nearby.

First Class.   Stylish, relaxed resort set in lush tropical gardens only 300 metres from Cable Beach.  Has pool with central island spa, outdoor grill plus a cafe restaurant.  Has 1 bedroom suites with 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with balcony or verandah.  All rooms are air-conditioned with kitchen and laundry.

First Class.  Set in tropical gardens a stone's throw from Cable Beach. Self contained Asian-influenced villas have private entrances, kitchens, courtyards with alfresco dining area, and the luxury of showering under the stars in your own private open air 'Mandi' bathroom - the Deluxe Suites also have an en suite bathrooms.  Room layout is open plan with Queen sized beds.  Has lovely pool.

Superior.   Excellent resort just a short walk from Cable Beach.  Superbly equipped room are all air-conditioned with broadband internet access.  Studios have microwave oven, apartments have kitchen.  Has restaurant/bar, on-site parking, free shuttle bus to central Broome and to beach.   Another feature is a swimming pool and lagoon complex.
