Exploring this coastline by sea is a unique experience.  Paddle over crystal clear waters, dwarfed by spectacular pink granite peaks, discovering pristine beaches and secluded bays. Previous paddling experience is not essential and when kayaking, you paddle for 3-4 hours a day. This allows plenty of time to explore the coastal wilderness, climb one of the surrounding peaks for fantastic views, go snorkelling in the crystal clear waters or simply relax on the beach.  Great food is an essential part of your holiday experience and meals are freshly prepared with Tasmanian produce in a unique wilderness setting.  All meals, from lunch day 1 to lunch on the final day, are included as are return transfers from Hobart.

Suggested Itinerary.  Days 1 - 4:
Over the four days you will be taken on a journey to the southern reaches of the Peninsula and magnificent Schouten Island (weather permitting).
There are plenty of opportunity to explore the pink granite coastline punctuated by the pristine white sand beaches. The coastal wilderness shows little evidence of the whaling, mining and grazing that was once undertaken here.
Each night camp is set up in a beachside location and and you will enjoy fresh meals prepared by your guides in a unique wilderness setting, such as - pan seared Tasmanian salmon with lemon myrtle risotto, - braised lamb shanks with rich gravy, mash and seasonal vegetables - accompanied by a crisp sauvignon blanc or delicate pinot noir  Great food is an essential part of your experience and fresh Tasmanian produce is used wherever possible. Your day is completed with an evening relaxing under the stars in the company of new friends.
There are many coastal walks to enjoy, including the opportunity to walk to the world famous Wineglass Bay, voted one of the top ten beaches in the world by Outside Magazine (USA). If you’re feeling more adventurous and conditions allow, the hikes up Mt. Freycinet (Freycinet Peninsula) or Bear Hill (Schouten Island) provide rewarding panoramic views. In addition, there is time to unwind, swim, snorkel and simply soak up the fresh sea air. Rejuvenate with every breath in the temperate maritime climate of the Freycinet Peninsula. Refresh in the clear waters, bask in the sunshine and enjoy the feel of the sea breeze.
On day 4, return to Coles Bay by early afternoon by Aqua Taxi. After a shower and freshen up, transfer back to Hobart arriving early evening. This concludes your Freycinet Adventure.
