Rafting in north Queensland has the advantage
of departures all year round, tropical water temperatures and
ease of access to compliment breath-taking scenery and rapids.
These rafting adventures are suitable for all levels
of fitness. Ride through the planet's oldest
continuously growing tropical rainforests on rivers that still
run totally wild.

| TULLY RIVER FULL DAY |
| Departs Cairns 7.00am Returns: 7.00pm
(earlier pick ups and later drop offs from Northern beaches). Pick
ups and drop offs are also available from Mission Beach Grade 4
rafting - moderate rapids with need to hold on and continuously
manoeuvre rafts. Exciting.
Travel by coach from Cairns to the Upper Gorge of the Tully River.
Here the excitement starts as you launch your raft and tackle rapids
such as Alarm Clock Falls, Zig-Zag and the Staircase. Enjoy a barbecue
lunch on the banks of the river then back into the action of the Lower
Gorge. On your return to Cairns stop for a meal at an Aussie Pub/Cafe and
watch a video of the day's adventures.
AGE LIMIT
The minimum age for white water rafting is 13 years.
There is no maximum age limit.

| WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: Lace-up shoes
(that WILL get wet) - rental shoes are available for a small fee;
swimming costume and towel (you will need to have your swimming costume
already on when you are picked up); change of clothes; sunscreen 15+.

Tully River Rafting Full Day Prices

| HOT AIR BALLOON FLIGHT + WHITE WATER

Departs Cairns: Pre-dawn (approx.5.00am) Returns: Approx.
5.30pm
Minimum age 14 years
After a balloon flight, come down to
earth with the exhilarating Barron River half-day white water
rafting. This excursion includes a 30 minute hot-air balloon
flight, round-trip transfers from accommodation in Cairns and the
Northern Beaches, breakfast, 'Flight Certificate' recording the details
of your hot-air experience and half day white water rafting on the
Barron River.

| The Hot Air Flight
|
| Experience the fun and unique sensation of hot air ballooning in the Atherton Tablelands, Australia.
The balloon flights are at Mareeba in the Cairns Highlands (previously called the Atherton Tablelands) Enjoy the picturesque landscape at sunrise, enjoy 30 minutes flying time. Breathe in the wide-open spaces!
Come down to earth and enjoy breakfast and champagne, fresh juices, eggs
and bacon, tropical fruits and a hot and cold buffet is all yours as you
relax in an open air restaurant before you are returned back to your
Cairns accommodation.

| Barron River Rafting
|
| At approximately 2.00 pm an experienced whitewater rafting River Guide will pick you up from hotel and transfer you to the top of the Barron River (Grade 3) just 20 minutes away.
The participants will be split up into crews for briefing. You'll spend a bit over one and a half hours on the river, its a grade 3 river, great as an introductory experience and for those looking for a shorter rafting trip than the full day Tully
River. At about 5.00 pm you will finish your whitewater rafting trip with return transfers on
by coach to your accommodation.

camera, hat, casual outdoor layered clothing (white clothing not
recommended due to bush environment), towel, swimming clothes, sunscreen
15+, spare clothes to get changed into after rafting.
